At home training DVD’s are available everywhere. We have all bought one, and most of us have tried at least one. Out of all the available workout DVD’s one of the most successful and popular series has been “Insanity” which is a 60-day home-based workout video program designed by the company Beach Body, which also produces other popular workout DVDs such as P90X, Hip Hop Abs, Power 90, and Slim in 6. Insanity is possibly the most difficult, cardiovascular-based DVD workout program on the market today. It is a total body, circuit training workout that requires no equipment, just your own body weight. The DVD’s are designed so that six days of tge week you are exercising. Each DVD will take approximately 30 to 60 minutes to complete. All that you need to use the Insanity program is a TV, DVD player, a good pair of tennis shoes, and sheer willpower. Workout DVD’s aren’t for everyone. However, they are good for people who have on the go careers and are constantly traveling or have a busy work schedule. For people like busy music artists. Insanity is a great idea. T.staxx is from Houston and has been living in LA for past year working hard in the music industry. He never worked out before but has recently decided to get in shape for his promising music career. He tried the gym and it wasn’t working for his schedule. The Insanity DVD’s he can do when he has time before or after the studio at home or when he is on the road it is perfect for throwing in his lap top at the hotel. He is seeing more results than he ever did when he was casually going to the gym! Give DVD’s a try if you are constantly on the go like Staxx did. Check him out on twitter
The answer should be pretty obvious. YES! Women love to cook and provide for a man, however it is nice to have someone that can help with cookie duties or surprise you with a nice home cooked meal after a stressful day.Cooking does not mean picking up take out, reheating leftovers, breakfast for dinner, or baking a cake from a box. Cooking means that you can follow a healthy recipe full of fresh produce, meat and/or poultry. That means cutting up vegetables, preheating an oven and flavoring the dishes. Women appreciate the time and effort that you put into things and will most likely reward you. Also remember that the cook usually doesn’t have to do the dishes so cooking is a great way to get out of that dreaded task. So go ahead don’t be embarrassed take a cooking class, watch the food network, look up your favorite dishes on youtube and surprise your lady in the kitchen. Follow Alicia on Twitter
Not all women want a man that can play a sport or that is a sports fan. Some women are not into sports at all and if your sport consumes your life your relationship may suffer. So be wary of the women that you date and make sure that you have common interests in athletics, sports and sports teams. For the women who do like that their man can play a sport or is a fan of a certain sport they love the fact that you can be competitive, they love the athletic, toned and muscular bodies that playing sports develops but be careful not to bring your sports agression home and again make sure it does not consume your every waking hour of life. Women like to have attention just as much as they like to support your sporting endeavours. It is important not to be overly obsessed with your sport. Most women won’t like it if you decorated the living room in Toronto Maple Leaf everything. There is fine line between sports fan and crazy obsessed fan. If you and your partner like the same sport try and incorporate that into your lives. Try joining a co-ed sports league where both of you can play on the same team or get tickets for your partner sometimes and take her on a date rather than always bringing your boys. This is a great way to bring you closer and to meet other couples that share your interests and love of sport. Follow Alicia on Twitter
Do women want a man who takes supplements and has a strict diet? Yes of course they do. What women don’t want is a man who is overly obsessed with his supplementation and diet routine. Nothing is more annoying than dating a man and you are at a nice restaurant with and he says “if I eat that I am over my 2200 calories allotted for the day.” It is a major turn off. Although there are exceptions most women don’t want to have to deal with this every night. Another reason we don’t want a man to be overly obsessed with his diet is if it takes him 30 minutes and argues with the cooking staff on how to prepare his food. Women especially have a hard time tolerating a man who carries around a four pound bucket of protein wherever they go. It is nice to have a man that eats healthy, takes a proper amount of protein, but it is another story when it affects traveling, dates and alone time. It is a turnoff to have a man who carries around a fanny pack of vitamins and supplements so try and not be overly obsessed with your supplement regime. Don’t let a strict diet control your dating life. Follow Alicia on Twitter

Yes. Of course. Running is one of the most popular recreational sports. Hundreds of thousands of people sign up for marathons, 5km and 10km a year. For women it is great to have someone to help motivate them to be active and that they can participate in a run or a race with. If someone is there to workout with you are more likely to stick to it. Studies show that couples who exercise together have healthier, happier and longer relationships. If you want to be a successful runner practice looking ahead and not at your feet, keep your torso upright and if you start to slouch try and take a deep breath you will naturally become taller, breath naturally, move your arms forward and back while keeping them bent at 90 degrees, keep your hands unclenched and relaxed, your legs should land underneath your body and cycle as if you are on a bike, and make sure you aren’t running ahead of your partner because women want someone that they can run with not someone that they have to chase.
The answer is yes. Woman want someone to help motivate them to workout. They need someone who isn’t going to sabotage their goals, or tempt them into being sedentary. They want a motivator, someone to push them and someone to keep them accountable.Going to the gym with her does not mean that you have to workout with her. If you two have totally different views on what a workout is you can arrive together, warm up together, separate to do your workouts and then meet back up again to cool down. If you both are looking to be around each other hire a personal trainer to meet with you a few times a week to do couples training. This is a fun way to motivate each other and it usually sparks a friendly competition between you both to get results. If a gym membership or personal training couples sessions aren’t in your budget you can always do at home workouts together, DVD’s, Body Rock on Youtube is fun and challenging, you can design your own home workout where you each pick an exercises and go back and forth for thirty to sixty minutes. Working out together can be fun, challenging and motivating so give it a try at least once a week and it may develop into a daily routine that brings you closer together. Follow Alicia on Twitter
