Do women want a man that is a sports fan?

Not all women want a man that can play a sport or that is a sports fan. Some women are not into sports at all and if your sport consumes your life your relationship may suffer. So be wary of the women that you date and make sure that you have common interests in athletics, sports and sports teams.

For the women who do like that their man can play a sport or is a fan of a certain sport they love the fact that you can be competitive, they love the athletic, toned and muscular bodies that playing sports develops but be careful not to bring your sports agression home and again make sure it does not consume your every waking hour of life. Women like to have attention just as much as they like to support your sporting endeavours. It is important not to be overly obsessed with your sport. Most women won’t like it if you decorated the living room in Toronto Maple Leaf everything. There is  fine line between sports fan and crazy obsessed fan.

If you and your partner like the same sport try and incorporate that into your lives. Try joining a co-ed sports league where both of you can play on the same team or  get tickets for your partner sometimes and take her on a date rather than always bringing your boys. This is a great way to bring you closer and to meet other couples that share your interests and love of sport.

  1. And to piggyback off this: it would be considerate to minimize that obsession with sports so that there could be a balance in the couple’s relationship. Flexibility and selflessness can go a long way.
Your woman has the right to size-up the relationship and make references to better relationships because most women have many aspirations and cropping it all down to sports every night–without a regard for the other side of your woman is how infidelity creeps in–like a “back-door pass”–yeah.

So, it’s not sports that will be the climax for your woman in every case. A woman’s reception for sports could just be from her exposure to it in school, going to games with her dad, being an athlete herself and various other possibles. But every game, every night is too much for any one person–even down to an enthusiast.

If you both regard each-others background and heritage–incorporate old customs–make it fused with today’s technology–recall the victories we’ve seen and how sports helped bridge gaps in society. It kind of is that deep. But, nevertheless, you could both enjoy life from a different viewpoint–making your own worlds your “Sky Box” and “Court-side seats”. – PINOT
