What began as a half-time slow burn of an R&B track eventually transformed into the trap anthem we know today, with a little help from Omnisphere and Splice Sounds. “Mob Ties” is one of many of Drake and Boi-1da’s collaborations, with a partnership spanning as far back as 2009’s “Best I Ever Had” all the way to 2018’s “God’s Plan.”
