Bio

Y.E.$ (YUNG.ENTREPRENEUR.SQUAD) was formed in St. Louis, Mo in 2006 when members Menace, M.I.Z, and Yung P. of the local group “Hard Headz” connected with City B, a solo artist originally from Detroit, MI. After breaking away from a previous Independent Record deal, the four decided a fresh start was necessary.. In 2007, the Y.E.$ dropped their first independent street album entitled “Respect Da Unexpected” (produced by Yung P.) which sold 5,000 units. Their single “Wack Sh**” off the album created a huge buzz in the streets. HOT 104.1(local radio station in St. Louis, MO) quickly put it into rotation.

In 2009, the group finished their second and third independent album entitled “Self Employed” and “Lunch Break” under the Y.E.$ Ent. umbrella. These albums also made noise in the streets of the Midwest and southern region. In 2011, the group dropped their fourth independent album entitled “A TRIBE CALLED Y.E.$.” The song “If I ever Fall” off of the album gained placement in the 2015 independent film “Cronies” executive produced by Spike Lee. The group has also opened up for major artists such as Drake, Lil Wayne, Fabolous, Lloyd, D4L, and more. in the summer of 2013, Y.E.$ put together their own live band entitled “THE Y.E.$ BAND” which fans say has really enhanced their stage presence. Now back with their new singles “Bueno” and “Goofy Throw’d”, the group is determined to show the world why they are the hottest in the game!

Y.E.$’s goals are to continue to expand their music and entrepreneurial ideas to the masses, tour the world, be positive examples, inspire people through their music and stories about their trials and tribulations, help families out of poverty stricken circumstances and continue giving hope to all up and coming artists (not just in the hip hop genre).
