Tyrone Smith was born July 29, 1978 in Harlem, better known
as HarlemWorld. This charismatic brother does not know the
meaning of limitations. When at the age of 10, his Grandmother told
him that he was destined to be something special when watching him mimic
moves and sing songs from the King of Pop, Michael Jackson”. Now
finding his path, he feels ready to take that much needed leap to the next
level, to share his gift.

In 1991, at the age of 13, he started a group named B.U.C.
(Brothers Under Cover). This idea came from watching
“Another Bad Creation”, a young R&B/Hip-Hop group at the time. Tyrone fortunately
had a close friend that had his own studio named Oscar Richardson (aka
King) who managed and worked with the legendary Manhattans and
Intruders. He asked King if he would be interested in helping his group out.
That same day, they were in the studio recording. At this time he took
interest in song writing and producing. Things with the first group did not
work out, so in 1992 he started another group named S.M.G. (So Much to
Give).

With this group, he had his first performance in his High School
Talent Show performing Jodeci’s “Cry 4 U”. The crowd went
crazy and it was at that point in time Tyrone knew that he wanted music to be a part
of his life. In 1995, S.M.G. came close to signing with “Sean
Combs” and the Bad Boy Family, but 112 beat them to the table. Shortly after that
the group separated. After some bumps in the road, and not doing
music for awhile, he felt that he had and was supposed to walk his path by
himself and no one else. This wasn’t a problem because he’s been
producing and writing songs since the age of 15 years old.

In the middle of 2007, Tyrone decided to start his own company named
“Harlem Music Group”. With doing this, he’s hoping to contribute good
music to today’s culture. With H.M.G., he also hopes to get into film,
clothing, acting and to help others that need and want opportunities.

This 31 year old young man is ready to be where he feels he
belongs. He has already done ghost work with some of the industry’s
top artists and producers. Those names he doesn’t to mention. With that
being said, The Man, he doesn’t want to be…but a star…he is.
