Robert M. Collins III A.K.A Rezidue was born in San Deigo, California but has spent most of his live in IL. It was his freshman year in high school where Rezidue discovered that God had blessed him with the gift of making music. He originally fell in love with music after joining the Proviso West High School Marching Band. Unfortunately, he had to transfer schools his sophomore year and enrolled in Thornton Fractional North High School. While a student there, his fellow students began referring to him to as “the rapper.” He would consistently be seen around school doing school talent shows and high school ciphers with other aspiring artists. Eventually he gained a consistent following of fans as they were drawn to his lyrical wittiness and delivery. Rezidue befriended another rapper by the name of King Lil Ron. Both decided to form a group called TWISTED BACKWARDZ and began doing shows in the Chicago area, all over the state of IL, and the Midwest. Soon, they garnered interest from an independent label called Rush Entertainment and began performing wherever they received an opportunity. TWISTED BACKWARDZ enjoyed a lot of success but both parties also wanted to pursue independent ventures. Rezidue decided to go to college and keep doing music. It wasn’t very long before VP Oliver “O.G” Grose III witnessed his talent and he joined Outlet Records.
