James Williams, a.k.a. TurkTurk, is an aspiring producer, artist, songwriter and engineer, who is dedicated on becoming a house-hold name in the music industry. As he eats, sleeps and breaths music, TurkTurk is bent on being one the greatest producers of his generation.

Born November 25, 1982 in Hampton, Virginia, TurkTurk has been surrounded and influenced by music all his life, but it became more apparent in 2006. His talent has allowed him to be in the studio with various Virginia artists and gain knowledge on how a song is constructed and produced. After seeing how music was created, he developed a passion for music and made it his goal to be the best out there. He decided to start producing his own beats around 2008 with just a computer and beat software. As he grew as a beat maker and started to make beats for a number of Virginia artist, TurkTurk produced and wrote his first track in 2010 for a local rap group in Hampton, Virginia.

In 2011, TurkTurk became a part of SoundSquad Ent. and one of the best production teams in Virginia Blacc Ace Pro’s. He later ventured into the world of becoming a music artist after successfully having numerous placements on various mix-tapes and albums in areas such as Virginia, North Carolina and New York area. As a music artist, he is hard at work on his highly anticipated mix-tape (untitled) set to be released in July 2011.

TurkTurk says “that he was born to do music.” He hopes one day to work with the industries best and most relevant artists, with intentions of starting his own independent record label. To him, music is not just a hobby, but something he truly loves to do and hopes to make a career out of one day.
