Hailing from one of the most soulful cities in the nation, Chicago, singer/songwriter Terin Thompson
embodies an innate ability to dig deep and forge some of the most substantive verses in today’s Urban Reared by a
family of musicians; Terin naturally gravitated towards his musical talent and gift. The emerging talent, who has
been compared to the likes of Usher and Chris Brown, passion for music manifested itself while at a performing
arts school in California and flourished during his time at Burbank High School.
Earlier years of hard work, passion and team dedication with his involvement with various singing groups
afforded Terin the opportunity to receive national attention in the 1990’s. As a member of the singing group
Undivided, who was supported by legendary Clive Davis, Terin performed for the Grammy Awards Pre-show
three years in a row. In early 2000, Tern joined forces with Northern Cali juggernaut Fireworks Productions,
helmed by producer GOLDFINGAZ.
Now a sought-after ghostwriter on the R&B scene for artists such as RAY J and HEIDI of the hit reality TV
show, “The Hills”, Terin continues to make his mark in the industry and become increasing in demand. More
recently, his album work with recording artist MARQUES HOUSTON and movie placements in two major films
“Battlefield America” with Manager CHRIS STOKES and “American Bad Boy” Starring KATT WILLIAMS
and directed by OBBA BABATUNDE for LIONSGATE demonstrates that this songster’s services are becoming
highly coveted.
