Tashawn Leslie (born July 8, 1986), better known by his stage name Ta-Rizzle is an American Rapper-songwriter, arranger, performer, Graphic Designer, Screen Writer and Audio Engineer. He is widely regarded as Mr. L.N.A. of Rap. Debuting in 2002 with the group Ghetto Gold, Rizzle went solo in 2010 with the album T.T.L. Unleashed. He is known for a collection of major hit singles including “Tell Me’ ‘Loven U”, “Baby U Need Love'”, “All A Dream”, “Real Love(Electronic Romance)”, “(Sorry) I Did U Wrong”, “Love @ 1st Sight”, “Fantasy Ride”, “What’s The Deal”, “Get Loose”. In 2010, Rizzle won an Independent Artist Best Album Award for “T.T.L. Unleashed”.
Rizzle has also performed in many tracks by other R&B and hip-hop artists. In 2011, Rizzle has sung the hooks and feat. for many notable hip-hop songs, such as “Aftershock” by S.T.C. 1, “Don’t Give a Damn” by Yung Toc, “What Is Real” by S.T.C.1, and “Amazing” by HowLow Tip, and has collaborated for one album with Yung Toc.
In his personal life, His grandmother was also very influential in his life and has a part in raising him. The thing she wanted out of life was to see him on the T.V Screen. This was a promise that he kept even after her death in September 4, 2002, which was a big turning point in his life. It was at West Chester High that he found his niche for writing. He began writing poems and letters to friends, not to mention music. His main concern however was his popularity when he became a shooting guard on the basket –ball team. However, during his 10th grade year his dream of becoming a Basket-ball player came to a drastic end when he was left bed ridden from a knee injury. Even though a sad memory, it was the beginning of a revelation to music.
