Billie Tillman was born in Miami, Florida on March 5, 1975 to the late Gail J. Tillman and the late Billie Tillman Sr. Billie started singing at the young age of 5, by 11yrs old he joined the group at that time called “Special Effect” who also featured current SOL member Doni Jackson a.k.a D-Luv.
Before Billie decided to want to sing he wanted to rap with his idols being Uncle Luke, 2 Live Crew, Scarface, and Too Short. His singing inspiration came from his mother Gail J. Tillman. Also Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Jodeci, Boysz II Men, and the Temptations are on his list of favorites. That being said Billie decided to go professional at the age of 19. He really enjoys seeing the affect his music has on people when they hear SOL’s music for the first time. Furthermore, when he’s not singing he likes to cook, spend time with his family, club, and get as much sleep as he can when he can.

Doni was born in Miami, Florida on November 29, 1976. Son of Linda Copeland and Don L Jackson, on his mothers side he is the knee high child. Younger brother John West III, older brother Gregory Pough and the oldest sister Sabrina Pough-Neilly. On his father side the he has and older sister Valerie Jackson and younger sister Danielle Jackson. He was raised by his mother but his father was just a phone call away. Having the mentality of his father he never gives up on his goals and pursing music with stubborn determination.
Growing up constantly moving from neighborhood to neighborhood he loved to listen to R&B music,Rap and Reggae. His favorite artist are Boyz II Men, Jodeci, Donell Jones, New Edition, Beenie Man, Spragga, Bounty Killa, Red Man, 2Pac and R-Kelly to name a few. Doni traveled to places such as Atlanta Ga, Morganfield Ky, Jacksonville Fl and Monticello Ny. In the third grade he was selected to choreograph a dance routine, that summer he decided to form a singing group, and thats were his best friend of two years then Billie “Smooth” Tillman came into play. At that time Smooth wanted to rap, but with some convincing and practicing and long hours his mind was steered other wise. Since they have went separate ways but fate would always cross their roads in near future forming multiple groups from the names of “Special Effect”, “A Bit of Harmony”, and “6 til Midnight”. The group has had many members but the core remained the same.
Now after deciding to go professional the group now SOL has buzzed through Dade County streets with much anticipation of an album.
After positive feedback from the streets pleading that there vocal talents needs to be on the radio and what needs to be heard, the long awaited single is in the works. The album “After Hours” followed by a mixtape “Hood Love” will be introduced by the single “Break You Off”.

Born to the parents of Juliette and Henry Boatwright, Gregg’s life was always full of music listening to all the oldies that his mom and dad played when he was younger gave him the musical foundation that would lead him to gain his vocal abilities in the future. Gregg is the youngest of three brothers Tiger L , Sterling and Anthony Lewis on his biological fathers Willie Holmes (father) side of the family. On his mothers side he is the knee baby. The eldest boy of three children with his sister being the oldest Renee Darden and Anthony Boatwright.
Now Gregg really didn’t start singing until he got to high school the 10th grade to be exact. Everyone around him said that he had a beautiful voice so he decided to put it to the test and entered a talent contest in which he won. Now by him winning this contest, it gave him the confidence to do more shows.
Next came the first official singing group that he was recruited by…SOL. During this time he gained more experience to help home his craft even more.
