Bio

Born Shauron McClary, Shauron spent half his life in Jersey Cities Duncan Project and the other half in at the time suburb of Newark, Irvington New Jersey. Raised by his grandfather (his mothers father). The elder of two boys Shauron was an inquisitive and bright child who learned about Hip-Hop from his older cousin Carlton Ease McClary.

“I use to go to the record store and buy cd singles just for the instrumentals, then go in my basement where I set 2 radios and recorded my self.”

Shauron began writing raps at 11 years old. By high school, he’d taken on the name “Shay-Rock” given to him by his aunt Toni, and continued secretly recording himself in his basement. One day he told his childhood friends Andrew “A.D.S.P” Golson, Derek Edwards, and Eugene “Mari” Reed about his recordings. Shockingly enough they were all also recording themselves at there homes as well. So they formed a group called “Realer Than Most”. After recording several records together and Andrew “A.D.S.P” moving to Atlanta, and Shauron enrolled in to Fairleigh Dickinson University nothing ever came of “Realer Than Most”.

In Early 2002 Shauron was introduced to Mike Bailey (CEO of Audacity ENT.) by his aunt Toni. He asked me to just go into the booth. So I went in and rapped for about 20 minutes straight impressing Bailey enough for him to show interest and wanting Shauron to be a part of his label. Shauron agreed with no paperwork signed, all he wanted was my own team who consisted of Eugene “Mari” Reed and Patricia “Tricia Nicole” Edwards as his artists. That situation also didn’t work in Shauron’s favor.

Shauron took a break off from music but in 2005 here returned with his 1st solo effort simply titled “THE PILOT”! Which generated significant buzz around New Jersey. Shauron once again took yet another hiatus, resurfacing with DJ Frosty and his club movement.

In 2011 with a newly formed group “The Teterboro Boys” consisting of Jeremy, Eugene “Mari” Reed, Brandon “BIG HOUSE” Ash, James “June Boom” Weir and Rashod “RA” Wilson. Fueled with Jeremy’s release hit “Motion Picture (Speilberg)” featuring DJ Frosty which has been played on New York’s Hot 97 FM. The Teterboro Boys are Buzzing all over the NY, NJ area. Shauron Jeremy’s journey is just beginning and despite the past drama, setbacks and disappointments, the future superstar believes he’s exactly where he needs to be. “I know that I create quality music and strongly feel when it’s my time to shine, I’ll shine the brightest.
