While living in New York, she captivated the audience and won 1st Place at the 2008 Pre Underground Music Awards Showcase, at Don Hills in NYC. These performances along with the Blaze the Stage Showcase, The Tampax/Pantene Total You Tour, opening act for Musiq Soulchild at The Black Expo Houston, Red Cat Jazz Café & Venue among other performances, have quickly grown her following and have given the industry a peek into her mass appeal.

As a former member of R&B trio Tha Truth! who was affiliated with “Def Squad,” (EPMD’s Erick Sermon’s hip hop crew) Ms. Woods is no rookie to the music game. This led her to co-write songs with Faith Evans and perform on tour with her as a background vocalist. She’s also worked with Missy Elliott, RZA, Marc Gordon, Stevie J, Redman & Keith Murray.

Scenic co-starred in “Bella,” a Pan African Film Festival screened indie film but her big screen debut as Gina, in the 2015 Fred Alonzo film, “Signed, Sealed & Delivered,” proved to she and her fans that she is definitely leading lady quality, as it premiered in 2 sold out theaters. In addition, she’s also appeared as a lead in the 2013 film “Behind De Pole” and appeared on its soundtrack, which yielded 2 music videos for the edgy love song, “Trillest” and the explosive hormone driven, “Sexpert.” She and the female cast wrote and collaborated on those songs in addition to the sensual ,“On Stage.”

Currently, Scenic is working on the highly anticipated 2016 web series, “Complx” with writer/director Joseph Elmore, Jr. of Elmore Vision Entertainment.
