SAM began honing his skills and 6-octave range at the age of three in church and has since become a featured favorite on the New York music circuit having brought down the house at some of its most prominent venues, including: Apollo Theater, BB Kings, Ashford & Simpson’s Sugar Bar, Village Underground, Café Wha? and Joe’s Pub, earning the praise and support of other legendary performers such as Janet Jackson, Nick Ashford, Valerie Simpson and El DeBarge.
