Born Oct 26 1990 and raised in South London, England. R$K (real name Razak Williams) was basically raised within the music/entertainment industry due to his father working in one of the top radio stations in London called ”Choice FM” and also being involved with a lot of concerts in London. With the benefit of his father working at a radio station, R$K was lucky to meet stars like R.Kelly damage etc. Being able to see what goes on in the industry, allowed him to learn what he wanted to be in the future; ”A Star!!”. R$K started rapping at the age of 13, started writing his own songs about what every young boy at that age wanted “Money, Fame & Girls.” Due to the songs he performed consistently sounding the same, he was introduced to a ghost writer and a producer (In Los Angeles when he First moved to LA) where he learned and studied how to write, structure and even make music. Due to bad grades, R$K was sent back to London where he stepped up in both School and his music career by doing both full time; studied, finished all of his work at school then went straight back home to record music everyday till when he was blessed with another shot to move to LA again. This time knowing that this could be his last time in the States, R$K made sure his career would officially start from selling his CD’s in Hollywood, in-front of grocery stores even in College (where he at times just used his CD’s to start a conversation with the ladies). Like they say “Hard work pays off’; since moving to California again, he has worked with many established Artist and producers. To name a few:

Also, in 2008 (which was meant to be his release date) but due to bad business his “In My Room” Debut Album was not released; however, his un-mastered single Tatted Ft Teairra Mari (X-Artist from Jay-Z’s Roc-a-Fella) was leaked onto the Internet (with over 458,604 & counting) and a few college/underground radio station plays which is good for an unknown artist. Even though R$K has only been through the downs of the industry he is still determined to make it and be a face of the next generation by still studying all genres of music/artist/legends, improving his craft, writing/producing songs with meaning and for those in this and the next generation will be able to relate to. Using all of his opportunities that he has had in his life, from hustling in the South London streets to sitting behind Lil Wayne at a MTV Movie Awards has all helped and pushed him to make his dream a reality.
