Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Rico Santana started writing and performing as a teen. Early 2005 collaborations with his cousin Pops da God would make the two known as DirtyMid Ent. Returning to performing as a solo artist in 2008, Rico created the record label Fam1st Militia Records; releasing his first solo project Spontaneous Combustion and Reign of Fire.

In 2013, he began performing again and released his new album The Beautiful Struggle. 2015 marked the beginning of a fresh start with a new outlook, and with the help of musician & curator STACE, the two began to embark on a new vision for Rico Santana. His first official single “Right Now” will be released on iTunes worldwide.

Rico Santana knows that his music is a creative outlet in which he has the opportunity to share his story with the world. It’s go time!
