Rene Bonét is a singer-songwriter from Leesburg, Virginia , currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia. Initially starting out as a poet, Rene Bonét eventually made the transition into a musical artist after being under the heavy musical influence of the popular (D.C. , Maryland, Virginia) tri-state area, also known as the DMV. Relocating to Atlanta, Georgia allowed her to focus more and hone the skill sets that she has as a singer-songwriter, releasing two Ep’s , “Energy” and the most current “Frequencies” both in 2019. Taking inspiration from other great artist like, Aaliyah, TLC, Missy Elliot, Jay Z & Tupac, and infusing them into her music with tantalizing lyrics, smoldering vocals, and punchy melodies, she is sure to make her own unique mark in the music industry.
