Bio

Born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. Ra-sool picked up his first instrument at an early age and fell in love with playing the trumpet. His fascination with music has catapulted him into a great artist that is not afraid to live outside of the box. His first EP (The Oracle) was published in 2003, under his own label (Triad Records). To pay the bills, he began to street team and promote his music in front of the ASU campus. This in turn, caused his name to circulate amongst other artists and he quickly created a buzz.

In 2007, Ra-sool changed his company name to Treyead Entertainment. Still keeping the original idea of TRIAD but changing the “I” into “EYE”. Phonetically pronounced as TRY-AD. He furthered his education by attending the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. There, he graduated top of his class and studied audio engineering, music programming, and music theory. While attending school, Ra-sool was giving the opportunity to work with Shelly Yakus and Lionel C. Martin at My Studio. There, he helped produce and write music for upcoming artists. This positive feedback gave him the confidence to turn his passion into a career. Ra-sool decided to take a risk and moved to Hollywood, CA to further his opportunities in the music industry.

When he arrived to California, he was hired on as a paid runner for Record Plant. Record plant opened many doors for him and he was able to work with the best of the best. His hard work and vigorous dedication, made him apart of the alumni. He continues to work with many artists and people in the music business until this day. He expresses many facets of his multi talented skills by revealing his charismatic approach and versatility. He is an example of the evolution of Hip-hop, where he produces, writes, and raps on his own tracks. He is currently working on his next EP “The Nexxus”. Some of his music is influenced by scientific knowledge and conspiracy theories. He likes to call this new category “Sci-fi” Hip-hop and his sound is described as a mix of Hip-hop, R&B, and Pop.
