Ragz didn’t get involved in the music scene until he was stationed overseas in Japan and got a gig hosting concerts and events that featured artists such as T-Pain, Flo-rida, Yung Joc, Bobby Valentino and Ne-yo just to name a few.

Hosting these events and networking with the various artists, djs, and managers inspired him to pursue a career in music.

He originally started making beats and dJing for the various artists scattered throughout Japan along with opening as a DJ/Host for the majority of the Major Label artists who came through Tokyo during his time there.

Eventually he relocated to Las Vegas and his initial lack of connections and accessible artists to rhyme on his beats led to his start as an aspiring MC.

Ragz is influenced by a wide range of artists such as Michael Jackson, 2Pac,Outkast, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, UGK, and Drake.

His music can best be described as futuristic hip hop with a touch of old school boom bap and most importantly he strives to keep his music 100 % real and relatable to the common every day person who is just trying to survive and keep their head above water.
