Dracie has been writing since the age of 8. Was best in writing poetry and short stories. As she grew up and started a family, her time and love for writing grew short. But, in the past few years, she has been on fire. Winning poetry contests, and non-stopping her flow in writing. Was also featured for open mic nights and picked to read her poetry in a play at the Cleveland Public Theater in 2010. Throughout the year 2010 she has performed at many known locations in the Cleveland area. The year 2011 has already brought greatness into her life as well. Performing on The Playa T Show as well as performing at The Miss Ohio Beauty Pageant. She hopes to connect to others through her poetry. It speaks from the heart and can very easily be felt by others through their ears. She works magic on the microphone!
Dracie grew up in a small town called Columbia Station located in Ohio. She was seen as an outsider by many that she grew up with. She fit right in with the person that mattered the most at the time though, herself. As she still says to this day, “It’s not where you’re from. It’s who you are”. Finding her inner self took some time but she never let anyone else’s thinking get in her way of being the person that she wanted to be.
Many view Dracie as a motherly, wise, inspiring, and an uplifting person. She has been through a lot and fought through and survived a lot in her life time. The smile on her face could fool you at times. If you listen to her other side, you will be able to hear the story that DRAC!E has to tell!

Trying to make myself a better person daily. Take care of my family and embrace new friends, change, and look at the positive in outcomes… You are the leader in your life, and you choose whether or not you fall back to the end of the line… I stand tall, first in line everyday… Even on the days it's hard to keep up. Life is lived, but only if you live it!
