PACK Music was established in early 2011 by Adam Whitten, also the founder of Whitten Beats. Instead of the normal rap group or clicks the industry now has, PACK Music has made a name for it self as being a movement. As stated by Whitten, in an interview conducted in Feb. 2011, he stated that: “This entire PACK Music thing, isn’t just a group; it’s honestly a movement for anyone who loves good music and is down with us till the very end. I never set out to create something that has already been done; I’m always striving for more. If you are down with us and support us, you can bet PACK Music will be there to support you.” The name PACK Music came from two different sources, one being that PACK Music is from North Carolina, where the NC State Wolfpack resides. The other source was a different and more true meaning. PACK Music was founded for being a movement, and if you are down, then PM will consider you apart of their pack. Whitten states: “This movement, is a team; a team of creative minds, and some of the best damn people you will ever meet. We are like a pack of hungry wolves. We, as a movement, will never stop until we reach our goals!”
