As a child, he always been creative and found a way to capture
the attention of those around him. From grade school plays to
local talent shows; he found himself while performing. He has
written poetry since the age of 13 and wrote his first song at
16, when his grandfather passed.

In 1997, he took on the alias of TECHNIIQUE. Living in Japan, he
made opportunities for himself upon battle rap platforms, club
performances, and eventually moved up to opening well-known
artists’ like Naughty By Nature, Goodie Mob, 112, Case, and
KC & JoJo to name a few.

In 2001, he released his first solo album, ‘Last Man Standing’.
The release carried 19 original tracks produced by Tyrone
Nixon. From 1998 to 2003, opened for almost every major
concert that passed through Northeast Asia. He’s performed in
various countries such as Korea, Guam, Germany, Jamaica,
Bahrain, and the Dominican Republic. Two of his attributes that
have always been appreciated are his clarity on the mic and
his ability to refrain from controversial lyrics. In 2010, he
decided to take a break and focus on other aspects of his life.

Now, it’s 2016 and he is back; more wise and more versatile.
He never stopped writing. It’s the studio, live performances,
and pursuit of more records on the horizon. It’s been 5 months
since the self-provoked re-branding as OMEHGA has begun and
he has seamlessly made his way back onto the scene. It’s just
the beginning. It’s not so much the start of something, but
more the re-ignition of what was always meant to be.
