I grew up in one of its worst drug infested neighborhoods in Detroit.I discovered the power of music at a very early age. I was around to witness hip hop from its infancy to what it has grown into today. I always had a strong desire to make music that would touch the hearts, minds and souls of the masses. I put my dream on the back burner and gave in to the many negative influences of my environment! I have seen and done quite a bit to both excel in the destructive arena of my environment while seeking an escape from that madness at the same time. I moved to Atlanta in 04 after becoming enticed by the lives of those who I knew there; not to mention my ever present “musical ambitions”. I had become so complacent with the “illusions” of fast lane living that I never put my all into what my passion really was… MUSIC!!! I met you (JD) once at Magic City in 06 and shook your hand while asking you if I could give you my demo. You told me no of course and although I was in your presence on a few other occasions at other venues, I never approached you again. We actually have a few acquaintances in common, Cory and his Mother Toni to name a few. I must admit that I have always admired your versatility and creative genius. I have no desire to be in the lime light as I have become accustom to playing the background. I want to write music!!!
