The Cleveland native, Nova the Rebel is definitely creating a lane for himself as well as garnering attention from a few heavy hitters in the music industry. Nova the Rebel covers all grounds as a hip-hop artist, witty lyricism & wordplay, a confident flow and a resonant vocal tone. Nova the Rebel understands how to naturally balance the art of MC’ing without losing the entertainment value. He isn’t just prolific, he’s eclectic. You’ll hear everything from Houston chopped-and-screwed to Diplo-influenced electro to dusty boom-bap soul samples. His way with words keeps it all moving, from quickly quotable punch lines to image-laden narratives.

Nova the Rebel has performed at NXNE Music Festival in Toronto, Canada, headlined at the Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes Industry Mixer in Pittsburgh, performed at the Cleveland Music Festival and performed at the A3C Hip-Hop Festival in Atlanta, GA. Out of thousands of submissions all over the world, Nova the Rebel was chosen as 1 out of 5 finalists for the opportunity to perform at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards Post-party. Although not chosen, he was recognized by Billboard.com, in which their site garners over 1 million monthly views. Nova the Rebel has recently inked a label deal with Tri Entertainment/Urban City Entertainment with distribution through Warner Music Group. His lead single “All in My Business” will release digitally on June 25, 2013 and his debut album will be in stores and digitally late 2013. “All in My Business” is currently on rotation on 103.9 WDKX.

I think it’s time for the world to see what they’ve been missing.
