I am a journalist at the Courier-Journal in Louisville, Ky. I took an interest in journalism during high school when I landed a small internship at the newspaper company my father worked at (Lexington Herald-Leader)..from there, I was blessed and fortunate enough to receive a full scholarship to play college football at Western Kentucky University, where I also majored in journalism, with a minor in sociology. During college, I recorded my first mixtape and landed my first record deal in 2008 with Ice Age Records (what a waste of time, lol) and my first job as a reporter at the Herald-Dispatch in Huntington, W.Va. (what an experience, lol). Currently, I am taking my own direction in specializing in arts & entertainment reporting dealing with high to the highest and lowest profiled athletes, actors/actresses, and music industry. My reporting will also consist of the latest fashion and soul food recipes coming from local and national chefs.
