Mo Grizzly
A studio engineer, record producer, and musician, has acquired over 20 years in the music business. Born, raised, and located in New Orleans, LA home of the Gumbo, jazz, and the Second Line.
Early Life
Starting his musical career as a trumpet player in numerous school bands and jazz camps, he began his musical career in high school recording compositions with his high school band John F. Kennedy Sr. From there he watch the complexities of recording a large band and his interest recording music began. He continued to play music into his college days attending Jackson State University, studying music theory , music composition, and understanding how to make music go BOOM.
While attending another university in 1995, Mo Grizzly was formally introduced music engineering thru an apprenticeship with Ionique Records and studios. It was there that he assisted in the recording of BG’s Chopper City in 1996 for Cash Money Records and other songs for the label. In 1997 he move out to Atlanta and started building his own home studio working on demo products for local artist in the Atlanta metro area. From there he relocated to Chicago worked with a few rap artist, but found a new love producing house/dance music for commercial and advertising agencies. In 2001 he returned back to Atlanta to work with more artist developing that now famous crunk and trap music.
His latest recording project came from the recently convicted Corey ‘C-Murder’ Miller Calliope Click Volume 1 Released: September 29, 2009 Label: Tru/RBC Records. Where he recorded most of the album and three of his tracks made the final cut.
He is currently looking to develop more artist.
