Vanessa is the daughter of radio personality and actor Pedro Vega.When she was five years old she went to visit her Dad while he was doing his radio show and took hold of the mic and started talking live on air.The radio station was flooded with calls and the owner hired her to do commercials and promos for the station. She became a regular guest on her fathers show.Eventually she got her own radio show.She’s been on 1030 AM,1140 AM,1220 AM,1440 AM,88.7 FM, and http://www.cypresscreekradio.net in Orlando FL.Vanessa moved to acting and quickly landed a Ritz crackers and a Walt Disney World commercial.She was part of the audience in the kids gameshow Go For It.Actress Sharon Riley took notice of her talent and let her enroll in her adult only acting school, Producciones El Escenario, when Vanessa was only nine years old.After graduating from acting school Vanessa performed in plays at the SAKS theater and Blackbox theater.She briefly modeled doing a fashion show for Yo Latina clothing and a trade show for Firm International and winning the titles Miss Teen Puerto Rico 2005 Miss Teen Achievement 2005 and Miss Teen Latina United States 2nd runner up.She was not too interested in modeling and quit after a couple months.Her senior year of high school she was cast as an extra in the Summit movie Never Back Down.In 2008 Vanessa started pursuing a degree in media production.She worked for the New England Sports Network (NESN) as a camera woman filming live college basketball,hockey and volleyball games.She also was a technical director and camera woman on a sports gameshow in Connecticut names Bobcat Blitz.Currently Vanessa has a spanish radio show on 1440 AM in Orlando Fl Saturdays 7-9AM.
