Matrix (Fred Ward) is an accomplished Birmingham, AL. based producer and composer. Though Matrix was born in Birmingham, Al, He was raised on the west side of Detroit, Mich from the age of 3yrs old. Matrix remained in Detroit till the age of 21. It was the urban streets of Detroit that taught and exposed to him the shared passion of the soulful world of hip hop (in Matrix words – Gangster Rap).
