Mimi, A-Ni, and Kena Ochoa known to most as MAKO Girls, are three sisters that took their love for singing and dancing to professional level. Inspired by Missy Elliott, TLC, Aaliyah, Katy Perry, and Mindless Behavior the MAKO Girls wanted to do more than just sing and dance, they want to entertain the masses.
With the recent release of their debut EP, “The Mako Girls Experience”, the MAKO Girls are making waves in the entertainment industry most teens could only dream of. These young ladies have had the opportunity to join Grammy Award Winner Gordon Chambers on stage, sing for R&B Divas KeKe Wyatt and Chrisette Michelle, perform for National Recording Artists, Mindless Behavior Exclusive Album Release Party, and share the stage with some of today’s most notable ATL Teen Superstars.
How are they able to achieve such success at such a young age? The formula is simple –By promoting a positive, clean music movement which was the start of a new trend that community leaders, non-profit organizations, and youth empowerment event coordinators want at their event attendees to witness live. The MAKO Girls have performed at over 120 youth inspired events in the past two years. Not only do MAKO Girls strive to break barriers with their own clean music, they have created a professional platform where other artist that possesses the same passion and drive can become a part of the movement. The creation of the MAKO Girls Annual Carnival Glow Party and now the MAKO Girls Carnival Glow Party Tour has completely changed the dynamics in which the MAKO Girls are seen amongst their peers. Not only are they the face for this family oriented, All Ages event, they are also the decision makers of the talent affiliated with their brand.
The introduction of their teen cosmetics line with Kissable Lips Cosmetics put them directly in the front of the lime light and they have been embracing it ever since.
