Lew Static, born Lewis Jordan, has dreamed of bringing a new dimension into the hip-hop world with his animated style, cleaver metaphors, and thought-provoking topics. For one to have a chance at becoming an elite rapper, they must be able to write and arrange their own music. Not only does Lew Static posses these skills, he also provides messages that people of all ages can relate to.
Through his music, he expresses life situations, whether good or bad, while offering a positive course of action. Although it has been a challenge trying to pursue his music, Lew Static has let his determination and motivation allow him to accomplish several achievements. He became the youngest member sign to an independent production company called N’spireWorld Entertainment in 2000. In 2007 Lew Static came in second in the American Teen Idol Delaware competition, which gave him a chance to experience doing his first PSA for MTV aired 3-14-08.
Being the true businessman that he is, Static founded and created his own recording label, Static Groundz Ent, which now hosts seven artists from every region in the U.S., and is growing worldwide. Lew Static’s dream is to make his own mark in the hip-hop industry by expressing his unique style to the world. He wants to be known for his lyrics, while setting himself apart from the image of what hip-hop has become today.
