With music inevitably in her veins, up and coming artist Nimo is a force to be reckoned with. Born in Oakland, raised in Vallejo, this singer/songwriter is ready to push the envelope with a new style of music. Her sound combines pop music with both rock, k-pop, and R&B influences to create a vivid, pulsating sound that will surely, and undoubtedly, rule the airways for many years to come.

Her Somali mother and African-American father taught her the value of perseverance and dedication. An honor roll student who graduated high school a year early, Nimo understands the meaning of hard work. She developed a passion for music at an early age, influenced by artists such as Beyoncé, Madonna, Lenny Kravitz and Pat Benatar to name a few. It’s no surprise that she soon found herself joining her high school choir.

Finishing up her final semester of college, it was fate that led Nimo to meet acclaimed producer K-Lou, who worked with artists such as Master P, Snoop Dog, and E-40. After their first session, she instantly and irrevocably knew that her path was set; it was music and there was no turning back.

A real go getter, and a true business woman, Nimo is ready to take the music world by storm. Her charisma, energy, spontaneity, dedication, and charm in combination with her good looks and great voice, shows that Nimo knows what it means to be a multitalented threat.
