We provide management services on a commission basis to select artists who are accepted to our roster. We work to further artists’ careers by providing marketing and professional development advice, counsel and support. We represent artists at trade shows and conferences. We specialize in strategic development of artistic brands and growth st…rategies.

JMC Entertainment has been involved in all facets of managing artists’ careers for the better part of two decades. Originally based in New Orleans, Louisiana, JMC quickly boasted a roster of many artists known not only through the city, but also through the South as a whole.

After many years of managing the pioneers of the Southern urban music movement, JMC Entertainment now has offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Atlanta with regional staff located at satelite offices from coast to coast.

JMC boasts a staff of music industry professionals who have contributed to a number of multi-platinum selling artists in all genres of music. Their experience and expertise covers all areas involved in developing and maintaining recording artists. Most notably — album production cycles, retail marketing and carrer longevity.

JMC Entertainment also consults various labels on artist projects, branding, and other issues surrounding their company. Dealing with various new business developments, corporate sponsorships, and other issues relating to record label managemnt.

In addition to supplemental work with numerous artists, JMC Entertainment has a resume of several major label artists in which it was crucial to the development and building of careers. St. Hilaire started his career at the age of 17. To date, he has won two Grammy Awards, for his work on the albums Halfway Tree (Damian Marley) and Songs In A Minor (Alicia Keys) and has recieved several more nominations. He has won numerous Billboard Music Awards and over 30 of his records have gone platinum. St. Hilaire discovered Jessica Simpson, recorded her first pop demo and was instrumental in signing her deal with Sony Records. He has helped create some of the most recognizable songs in pop and R&B history including, My Love Is Your Love (Whitney Houston), Stressed Out (Tribe Called Quest), What’s Happening (Method Man) and Working Class Hero (Paula Cole).

In the mid ’90s, St. Hilaire worked exclusively for Whitney Houston and her record label before joining Wyclef Jean’s production team. With Wyclef he collaborated on chart topping singles including My Love Is Your Love (Whitney Houston), which St. Hilaire arranged, engineered and mixed; No, No, No (Destiny’s Child); and Maria Maria (Carlos Santana remix). They also worked together with Mya, the Black Eyed Peas and City High. In 1999 St. Hilaire accompanied Wyclef on piano as they performed at John F. Kennedy Jr.’s funeral. St. Hilaire has been part of Busta Rhymes’ production team since the album The Coming. He produced, arranged, mixed and engineered on that album which included singles Whoo Ha- Got Ya All In Check and Everything Remains Raw. His work has appeared on every Busta Rhymes album to date including features with Mariah Carey, Lumidee and the Neptunes and Rhymes’ most recent album The Big Bang. St. Hilaire also recorded and engineered Busta Rhymes’ Where’s Your Money featuring Ol’ Dirty Bastard, in what was ODB’s final recording before his death.

St. Hilaire has scored, sound engineered and contributed to the soundtracks of several major motion pictures. He was the project coordinator for the film Life (Eddie Murphy, Martin Lawrence), and was also responsible for engineering, arranging and mixing the score. His filmography also includes Set It Off (Jada Pinkett Smith, Vivica A. Fox, Queen Latifa), Dangerous Ground (Ice Cube, Elizabeth Hurley) and Spike Lee’s Get On The Bus (Bernie Mac, Charles S. Dutton, Ossie Davis). In addition, he provided the scoring and sound for numerous independent films, like Mercy Street featured at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival. In 2006 St. Hilaire also began his own film production company. St. Hilaire has traveled on many concert tours, including Rock The Mic, Smokin’ Groves and Puff Daddy and The Family. He was the show programmer, sound engineer and responsible for live recordings.
