Raised in a small South Georgia town, Quitman, Jimmy Hennec grew up on the Westside of town on Laurel St and West Hill. He used rap as a creative way to express his imagination outside of his small town upbringings.

Jimmy was always into different types of art, with music being his main intrest! Once a band student, Jimmy began composing music of his own, which lead to him and a few friends creating their own product and putting it to the test around the local area!

In 2009, Jimmy created a South Georgia classic, Bye Bye Hater, which is still in radio rotation as we speak! He then began to travel around the region, getting booked for shows and all kinds of different sell out events! Even then, he never forgot where he started from! He organized numerous back to school drives, created a scholarship for his local high school (BCHS), and played a key role in the Boys and Girls Club of America in his hometown!

Fast forward to today, Jimmy just released a new single entitled, “Quaalude”, produced by 2x Grammy Nominated Engineer, Jak Brown! “The particular joint has that party feel that can be played in urban and alternative venues”, says Hennec! Hennec also added that he’s aware the title would cause conversation in certain areas of society, but he doesn’t condone any irresponsible usage of any drug or drink! “I believe this joint will be a fun record to dance and sing along to, and I hope everyone enjoys it for sure”, says Jimmy!
