The Graduates , an american group, consists of two members, Micheal “Classic” Koontz and Deonte “Dee-Tay” Brantley. They both are originally from Texas, but Micheal is from Wharton and Deonte is from Houston. They both met in 8th grade while attending Lake Olympia Middle School, located in Missouri City, Texas. They discovered that each othet was fascinated with writing music, so they developed a group called “BlackStarz”, but it lasted for about two years until they became sophmores in highschool. As, juniors in highschool they started a new group called “ Ink Society” it would only consist them as the members. The first single they released as a new group was “Imma Do It” which was given excellent feedback. So, it made them crave the desire to record songs that others could relate to. They received popularity at their highschool instantly, fellow peers often enjoy listening to their music. Also as of now their working on releasing a new mixtape called “The Graduates:First Class” anticipated to help with the launch of their career.
Ink Society has the passion to do wonderful things for the community. They want to establish, H.C.A.D, which means Helping Children Achieve their Dreams. “Mic and I, feel that we must help kids that have a dream of wanting to be whatever they heart desires them to be, some might need a little push to get where they need to be and we want to be the ones to help them get there, explains Dee-Tay. They also want to contribute to more things in music for instance, they would like to establish a Recording Label and name it “College Boy Music”. They also want to be given a chance to do other things outside of music. “Rude Biy” is the clothing line they wouls want to create. If the clothing line becomes successful, they would want to establish C.R.E.A.M K.I.C.K.Z, which is a shoe store that they would like to make nationwide. Music is The Graduates passion, if they couyld receive a recording deal, a big part of their dreams would would be accomplished. They know hard work and the strive to become successful cou;d take them a long way ant with the help of God, they could become one of the most talented groups that their ever was.
