Bio

Born in Peoria, IL and raised in Southern California(Garden Grove/ Long Beach) music started with Prinze J “Tha Juggerknott” at the age of 2 years old in 1988 listening to various early Hip Hop artist such as: Rakim, Krs One, MC Hammer, and Big Daddy Kane just to name a few, as well as numerous R&B artist (Which would later compliment his smooth mind bending lyrical skills and content capabilities) By 1990 he was coined Prinze J( later on changing the letter “C” into the letter “Z” for originality) by family members based off of his early interest of the artist “Prince” and “The Fresh Prince”. By 1993 he was coined Juggernaut by his late uncle ( Later respelling it “Juggerknott” for originality) because his uncle claimed he was “hard headed” like the “juggernaut” from X-men which was the number one saturday morning cartoon he watched every saturday when his uncle came to visit and heard how “hard headed” he was during the week. By 1996 Prinze J “Tha Juggerknott” was writing simple forms of poetry, short stories(Later to develop into screenplay writing) with an early development of writing lyrics from which he would come to perfect later on in life. Prinze J “Tha Juggerknott” was highly popular in grade school due to his sports skills and talent show performances. At this time he attended “Clinton elementary” in Garden Grove. He repeated the same type of performances with more aquired popularity in middle school at “Doig intermidiate” also in Garden Grove; adding along being crowned back to back “Prince” and then “King” at winter dance’s which had not ever been done in his schools history, according to his principal at that time. He also won a spot in the schools year book voted “Most Talented”. By time of highschool Prinze J “Tha Juggerknott” was sealed into following his dreams of becoming the artist and performer his classmates and family were sure he’d become. At this time Prinze J “Tha Juggerknott” knew in order to do this he would have to either find a studio to record in or gather his own equipment which at this time was “finacially impoosile”. That didn’t stop him, through out highschool Prinze J “Tha Juggerknott” continued to write lyrics filling up note books in hopes of one day recording his lyrics.. He practiced by looping stems from cd’s on to tapes from industry artist who had snipits of drum loops either before or after thier songs. Throughout highschool Prinze J “Tha Juggerknott” also made alot of close associates dealing with music as well as a name for him self taking interest in spoken word at school or at open mic nights in surrounding cities. From poetry clubs at school to rap battles in between class periods or lunch time. In his senior year of highschool he hooked up with his friend Eugene “Geno” Rollin who introduced him to others who produced their own music and recorded their own music. He would record several demos with these other friends getting the hang of a real “studio session”, even though they were recorded in closets or bed rooms. His friend “Geno” and a next door neighbor made their own beats as well and would show Prinze J “Tha Juggerknott” the basic building block of producing instrumentals. By the end of highschool in 2004 Prinze J “Tha Juggerknott” was still writing lyrics in note books with nothing to show for it and had a realization that, in order to record his music he would have to do it his self. Based off the high prices for professional studio sessions and everyone else having their own independent studios he was destined to create his own creative space for him self. By 2006 Prinze J “Tha Juggerknott” had his own place with his first income tax check, and unlike most who waste thier money on meaningless material or blow it off Prinze J “Tha Juggerknott” invested in the mini home studio he’d always wanted. For the entire year of 2006 and 2007 Prinze J “Tha Juggerknott” had recorded roughly 100 songs mostly over industry beats and few original beats but never released them to the mass public. This is because of his lack of engineering and mixing skills at the time which resulted in his tracks being “Poor Quality”. After getting the hang of recording Prinze J “Tha Juggerknott” continued to record over industry beats performing at a few clubs in his area but mainly focused on perfecting his producing skills with instrumentals. Due to constant relocating Prinze J “Tha Juggerknott” couldn’t really focus on making music instead maintaining a job and a place to live. Also due to this constant relocating Prinze J “Tha Juggerknott” lost a lot of material due to computer crashes and hard drive failure which would have been added to the numerous tracks and underground albums he has now. After moving back to Peoria, IL in 2008 to look over a family member Prinze J “Tha Juggerknott” went to city college and majored in “Mass Communication” to build on skills he already had obtained in his ealry stages of engineering, mixing, and producing. By 2010 Prinze J “Tha Juggerknott” had performed at his city college’s annual “Battle of the Bands” mainly for bands but he flew solo still gathering a crowd. For the next 5 years and still counting Prinze J “Tha Juggerknott” has recorded over 500 song with plenty of classics for radio plays and to go along with his legacy which it’s all over and done with, and his music has been recognized over seas. He’s in the process of recording 16 more albums, he has perfected his producing skills as well as his engineering skills and yet still learns something new everyday. He has perfected making his own album covers, and coined the trade marks of his production company, entertainment name, and record label( Concrete Crackin’ Productions. TM ) (Ultrasounn Entertainment. TM) (Illixer Records. TM) from which all come together under the “Illympian League Music Group. TM”. Overall since he has been doing everything his self it shows in his music as he gets better and better. Become a fan, spread the music!
