Dana Brenklin started singing in church. Dana sang her first solo when she was 4 years old at the New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles, CA. Singer, actress, lyricist, poet, recording engineer and two time editor’s choice award winner . Dana Brenklin has traveled abroad several times, she has appeared on television as a solo artist and as a member of The Crenshaw High School Elite Choir. In 2003 Dana Brenklin along with other students from The Los Angeles Recording Workshop were invited to Michael Jackson’s Neverland Valley Ranch to do volunteer stage work. She has recorded two demos and has tons of copyrighted material in song format. In her spare time she participates in flashmobs and has appeared on such variety shows as “Mobbed” alongside the people she flashmobs with. She is a member of Thrill The World Los Angeles. In high school as a member of the Crenshaw High School Elite Choir she was able to appear along with the choir on “The Arsenio Hall Show”, recorded with Rick James, appeared on a variety show with Whoopi Goldberg and traveled to France twice, Jamaica once and performed at Disney World twice. After high school she was an extra in a movie called “Virtuosity”, starring Denzel Washington. In 2010 Dana Brenklin appeared as an extra in the late, great Michael Jackson’s music video “Hold My Hand”, featuring Akon. She has sang background for Rowe Records’ gospel sensation Carla B in recent years. Dana Brenklin is an ASCAP member and against all odds she’s still performing and ‘stardom” is definitely in her future.
