Hyphy Da Spider Aka Hakeem Prime was born on October 16, 1991, in the town of Oakland, California, to mother African descent from Kinshasa, Congo a former convalescent home nurse, and Father Africa American & Native American, . Music was always present in Prime’s life beginning in his childhood. He would listen to soul & hiphop albums that his parents or relatives owned even acting out performances with his older & younger cousins. Eventually Hyphy indubitably found interest in the hip-hop scene.
