My name is Jamaal Williams a.k.a. “Duane Banx” I am a 18 year old Lyricist/Producer residing in Grand Prairie,(Dallas) TX. I have been writing lyrics since 2002 and producing and making beats since 2005. My audience appeals to a variety of age groups because my music is relatable to people in all stages of life.
While catering to young people with reality songs which I call “Highschool Stories” and radio bangers, I also spit about what’s going on in the world and different situations in my life. At the current time I am a solo artist but I do manage a label, Eardrumm Ent.(Myspace.com/eardrummrockaz) One of the things that differentiates my music from other rappers is that I keep it real and dont waste time capturing minds with art. My goal is to continuously bring something new to the table. The thing I’m looking for most to get out of a record deal is being noticed as one of the most creative lyricist in the game and at the same time doing whatever it takes to stand out from every other musician.

My inspiration comes from both a lot of Rap and R&B artists. One of my biggest influences are The Fugees
they combined both R&B and Rap and were good at it. Music is my truest love, because no matter what happens, bad or good, I can always rely on a pen and pad to express my feelings to the rest of the world.

I’ve built a studio w/ minimal equipment, but I put in a lot of hard work and dedication to bring the best quality music that I can. Even though my closet takes place of a vocal booth, I still treat everything as if I were in a multi-million dollar recording studio.

Currently in our area I am working on getting recognition by radio stations, newspapers and I am also doing well showcasing myself on various internet mediums. I have been doing everything possible to bring publicity to my music and stand out amongst many other entertainers. I truly understand how much hard work and consistence it takes to not only complete a project, but to complete an outstanding project containing nothing but quality performance.

The main thing i believe in when it comes to recording music is to finish quickly but with perfection, I am able to adjust to any type of situation and can handle myself even if pressure is up against me.

The goal I am trying to reach is to be nationally recognized and finally have a chance to let the world hear what I have to say .Having this opportunity yo have my music reviewed is one of the greatest things that could happen, I truly hope you listen to my projects and hear the talent you are looking for.
