Named “East Coast Youngest DJ” in Ozone Magazine 2008 and 2009’s “DJ of the Year” by Up Against the Wall, DJ Swagga is one of the most well-known and sought after deejays. In just five years as a professional DJ, Swagga has set himself apart from the rest of the field. His drive to succeed has enabled him to establish a reputable career, accomplishing more than any deejay his age. Before DJing, the D.C. native made his mark as a producer, working with several local artists. He is known to the public via clubs, tours, and mix tapes. Currently, DJ Swagga is the street deejay for Howard University and a youth associate with Advocates for Youth, a nonprofit organization that helps young people make informed and responsible decisions about their reproductive and sexual health.
