Demi Rose is not your typical urban songbird. Born and raised in Washington DC, Demetria Millard (MeMe to those closest to her) grew up in church, where her gifted voice was first exhibited. That gift quickly became her passion. Working with acclaimed vocalist Tanya Blount, Demi Rose was able to discover her own unique style and hone her craft. Her professional career began as a stand-out member of the R&B group Main Girl appearing on BET’s 106 & Park and Blaze the Stage. Realizing her musical desires were headed in a different direction, Demi Rose decided to leave Main Girl and pursue her solo career with Kenneth “KL” Baylor of District Music Group whom she met through social media connections.
