Frank Cornelius Jr. who’s persona in the entertainment is PlatinumBoyFCJ. not new to the music industry His father is a member of the legendary Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose family who has sold over 10 million copies of their hits: “Don’t ever be lonely (Poor Little Fool Like Me)”, “Let Me Down Easy”, “I’m Never Gonna Be Alone Anymore”, “Big Time Lover”, “I’m so Glad”, “Treat Her Like A Lady” and “Too Late to Turn Back Now” and many, many more. Frank Cornelius Sr, was one of the younger siblings of the group who joined the group as a valet shortly after high school he became the bass player after the bass player at that time was unable to make the gig. Fortunately for them Frank Sr. had been learning from the former bass player “Larry”Lunch”Seay, brother to the famed bass player from the group “Mothers Finest” Jerry”Wizard”Seay.
After the group seperated in the late 90’s Frank Sr. set out on his own and toured with artist like “Howard Johnson,The Gap Band, Kool and The Gang, Glady’s Knight and The Pips, Rick James, Ray Parker and Radio, Asford and Simpson, NiteFlyte, Roger and Zapp and many others.His incredible bass playing style that landed him the nickname “Thumbs” first heard on the The Cornelius Brothers second Lp”Big time Lover and Gloria Estefans “Turn The Beat Around “MC A.D.E.’s “Rockin all over”Lp. The Cornelius Brothers also recorded 4 LP’s busting the charts their first “Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose” second one “Big Time Lover” third one “Testify Love”, fourth one “Greatest Hits” and have performed on numerous TV show including “The Mike Douglas Show”, “The Dick Clark Show”, and “Soul Train” performed with everybody from “Tony Orlando and Dawn” to “James Brown”
As a kid PlatinumBoyFCJ would save lunch money for the bus so that after school he can ride 3 buses to his father’s recording studio in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. settling for the cleaning job just to watch Frank Sr. work with some of the biggest names in the music business. weather Frank Sr. was playing bass guitar or creating the Miami Bass sound engineering South Florida’s biggest hits such as: (Bass Mechanic) “M.C.A.D.E”, Gigolo Tony, (Mega Jon Bass) “Mega Ja” Mega Ja, (Get Retarded) “KJ and Da’ Fellas” and the biggest miami bass song of them all M.C.A.D.E. Bass Rock Express PlatinumBoyFCJ would pretend to be cleaning the control room and watch Frank Sr. engineer.
wanting more PlatinumBoyFCJ began to check the schedule to find out what artist was scheduled to be in, find the artist reel and prepare the SSL board for Frank Sr. to engineer that session. when Frank Sr. first found out this was done he was very upset but, quickly realized that is oldest son wanted to follow in his foot steps. not only did Frank Sr. teach PlatinumBoyFCJ how to record, engineer and mix song PlatinumBoyFCJ began to produce local artists but, his biggest dream was to produce the same artists his father was producing and engineering and years later that dream became a reality.
In 2002 PlatinumBoyFCJ hired one of South Florida’s top music lawyers launched his label Dreamer Vision Records Inc . and because of all the support PlatinumBoyFCJ is sure to get from Frank Sr’s Celebrity Clientel PlatinumBoyFCJ decided to launch his label in South Florida (Miami). Although South Florida has established a name for itself in rap music, this Hip-Hop/ R&B producer, singer, dancer, songwriter, engineer, on-air personality and now CEO refused to be limited to just rap.
2004 opened a whole new chapter for PlatinumBoyFCJ when he was introduced to legendary radio personality Joe Fisher who at the time was the active General Manager for 1047 The Flame in Port St. Lucie, Florida. After meeting PlatinumBoyFCJ Joe Fisher Immediately offered PlatinumBoyFCJ a job as a On-Air Personality for the Friday and Saturday Night Old School Backyard Party after reviewing the ratings Mr. Fisher decided to move PlatinumBoyFCJ to the 2p-8p Drive Time Afternoon Show. for 2 years you were sure to drive home with Platinum and The Afternoon Rush.
In 2008 PlatinumBoy decided he wanted to offer something more he wanted to be apart of something that was bigger than himself so PlatinumBoyFCJ decided to Invest in a security company in florida providing Security in Florida.
