Danielle Lewis is a native of New Orleans, LA and has lived in Los Angeles since the age of 10. At 14, she fell in love with Jazz dance under the tutelage of Keny Long at Hollywood High School for the Performing Arts where she studied Jazz dance. Danielle then went on to study Modern, Ballet, and West African and other dance forms at UCLA, where she also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. She has traveled the world as a dancer with Lula Washington Dance Theatre, UniverSoul Circus and the Legendary Paul McCartney. She has acted and danced her way into numerous commercials TV shows, films and theatrical productions. She can currently be seen in the Nikon ad campaign (featuring Ashton Kutcher). As one of the sassy, sultry and sophisticated Brown Betties, Danielle portrays Want in the cabaret-style play “Harlem’s Night-A Cabaret Story”, where she has also played an instrumental role in choreographing and developing marketing and branding strategies.
