Dakota Unique is a 18 year-old female rap artist from East Chicago, Indiana. She has been doing music since 2013, and is also registered with Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI).

“In my view of being a great artist is the style, structure, and ideas behind it,” she says. Therefore, Dakota Unique is different with her projects and likes to be ahead of the game. She has style, her stage presences are on point, and she writes her own lyrics.

Dakota Unique’s first performance was at club 219 September 30, 2013. She dropped her first mixtape November 27, 2013, and her first interview was on Power 92.3 with Sean Dale on March 16, 2014. Dakota Unique opened up for a few artists like; Rae Sremmurd, Jacquees, King Louie, Lil Herb, and more. She also worked with female rap artist Katie Got Bandz.

Dakota Unique is still in school, and wants to major in graphic designing. “I want to do more than just music, I’d like to have my own store, or design logos, websites, and etc. for different companies,” she says.

As Dakota Unique continues her journey in the music industry, she remains focused to chase her dreams.
