Michael Robert Alston, better known by his stage name Da Kid Jersey or simply Jersey, is a well rounded half Filipino and African American  artist who raps, songwrites, and sings, from Newark, New Jersey

Combining the delivery and infinite styles inspired by the likes of Jay-z; the bars and punchlines inspired from the likes of Cassidy; and the swag and syllable for syllable rhymes inspired from Fabolous into a conglomerate, Da Kid Jersey transpires his words from thought into abstract art over numerous original as well as industry instrumentals. Dubbing his alter-ego “Mr. Kill A Track,” Jersey writes intricate verses accompanied by simple, yet catchy, hooks and bridges to many songs.

He has repeatedly proven his east coast roots and lyrical talent in his  “unreleased” mixtape series entitled “Where Da Lyrics At?

The infamous claim that “his next shit is his best shit” keeps him improving and evolving track after track in search of becoming one of the greatest of his time.
