I have always been a fan of comedy. Some of my biggest influences include the late hometown legend, Richard Pryor, Martin Lawrence, Jamie Foxx, Eddie Murphy, Dave Chappelle, and the late Bernie Mac, just to name a few. Although I’ve always been told I was funny, I never thought I would end up on stage entertaining crowds. It all started one night when I went to do an open mic for poetry (yes, I write as well). I was so nervous once it was my turn on stage that I started cracking a few jokes. After my performance, a friend of mine told me I should try comedy. A year later, I got started and haven’t looked back since.
