Christopher Philip Hunte is an aspiring music producer from Jersey City, New Jersey. Producing music has always been a strong passion of his since the age of nine. Using MTV’s music generator, the Akai s20 sampler, and Sonic Foundry’s Acid Pro 2.0 computer program, Chris began to develop a keen ear for his signature sound. After completing high school, Chris decided to pursue his music career and sharpen his knowledge on it. He enrolled in the Institute of Audio Research and began learning about the key fundamentals of music production and audio engineering. In June of 2009 Chris received his diploma from IAR. In September he then transfered his credits to LaGuardia Community College to receive a degree in Music Recording Technology. Although he is still in the works of receiving his degree, Chris kept busy producing and perfecting his craft. He recently won the iStandard event on March 9, 2011 which gave him major exposure and on June 7, 2011 he was an NYC finalist for the iStandard event as well.
