Sylvester Burton – has been instrumental in building several multimillion dollar entertainment corporations across the country, the latest being the UniversalSoul Circus where he is currently the National Tour Promoter. With over twenty four years of experience Burton has been labeled one of the pioneers in marketing black entertainment. Throughout his years Burton has worked with a myriad of artist ranging from Run DMC to Usher.

In the 80’s Burton helped changed the entertainment game by introducing renown artists to the world (like Kurtis Blow, Run DMC, New Kids on the Block, The Fat Boys and Salt and Pepa) by promoting some of the first rap and hip hop concert tours across America such as: The Original New York City Fresh Festival, the jumpStreet Experience, The Fat Boys Wipe Out Tour and Salt & Pepa Slammin Tour.

Not limiting his hand to music alone, this gifted CEO with the savvy of a guerilla promoter; in collaboration with other pioneers, used his genius for spotting talent to reinvigorate a forgotten genre of the entertainment industry. This has lead to the record breaking success and revitalization of many African American stage plays and vaudevillian performances like Momma Don’t, Beauty Shop, and A Good Man is Hard to find.
