Bio

Passionate – Real – Purposed —
Music is Amy Rodd’s first love, a love that’s grown from infatuation to a passion for creating the music in her heart. Shy as a child, Amy found any opportunity she could to sing when no one was around. But as she grew up it became evident that her voice was more than just something she liked to use, it was now a gift that others loved to hear.
Under the tutelage of former Phase 4 Studios manager and engineer Sacco, Amy experienced the technical and business sides of industry and quickly realized that this is what she was created to do. She began working with other artists and producers- singing, writing, arranging vocals, engineering and even briefly managing Sacco’s studio Krash Course. Amy went on to perform in various shows and competitions, winning runner-up in CBS Radio’s “So You Think You’re a Star?” competition, and winning first place in her church’s vocalist competition.
Amy’s sound and style crosses the boundaries of age, race and gender. Here you’ll find an artist who is bubbly and playful on one side, wise and genuine on the other; who takes her craft seriously but knows that imperfections create character and desires to share the entirety of herself in her songs. You won’t find a plastic, manufactured sound here, but one that is relatable and can be felt. She dreams of entertaining but most importantly connecting with, inspiring and moving others through music.
Canadian-born, Amy now lives in Phoenix, AZ, where she attends Pilgrim Rest Baptist church and can be seen in the choir stands every Sunday. A dedicated Christian, she knows that all she does is to serve and glorify God, and Amy continues to do so, note by note, verse by verse.
