Friday cable ratings: ‘Mama June’ and ‘Rap Game’ tick up

It was ESPN’s weekly NBA basketball coverage that walked away with the top spots in the Friday cable ratings last week, with 0.9 – 0.4 ratings in adults 18-49 scattered throughout the night on the network. Following its season premiere last week as well, “RuPaul’s Drag Race” fell just one-tenth from a 0.5 to a 0.4. Meanwhile, “Real Time with Bill Maher” found its way near the top of the night also, with a 0.5 on HBO.

WE’s “Mama June From Not to Hot” experienced a minor increase, ticking up two-tenths from its previous 0.4 to a 0.6. Lifetime’s “Rap Game” also managed to disrupt its season-long 0.4 streak, rising to a 0.5 this week instead, while “Bring It!” continued to hold steady with a 0.4.
