  1. Bro. Whats good JD Hope all is well mane. I met you in NYC sometime ago and I comment on your ig a lot lol (thedebonaire) HUGE Mariah fan and anticipating all that you guys have to offer us. We all are rooting for ya to ‘Bring it on home.’ I’m not an expert but as someone who has a career in media (MTV, CBS news) and a longtime lamb, I can suggest some things to you bro with you managing MC! 🙂

    1. Good videos.-Mariah is great in front of the camera. But sometimes her videos do not match the quality of her songs. We need great video moments again like WBT, Touch My body, Heartbreaker, Honey, Shake it off. Videos that had an actual concept/theme and great treatment.. Not like #Beautiful where all she’s doing is caressing herself on a bike. There could’ve been so much more to that video for such a great song. Tbh, no one really wants to see her do that anymore. If you can, try to get Brett Ratner, Paul Hunter, Chris Robinson, X to direct. Because in her case the video can substantially push the song to the top. And whatever you do, JD. PLEASE DO NOT HAVE NICK CANNON DIRECTING ANYTHING. (Nick is the most humble and coolest dude I’ve met but just say NO)

2.- Singles- The one thing lambs never have to worry about from MC is music. She always delivers no matter whose she’s working with . But please get the label get its right this time. TEOM was perfect from ‘Its like that’ to ‘Mine again.’ E=MC2 was good ( Even though Last Kiss would’ve been perfect for radio)
Memoirs(Dream lol) was a complete, horrific mess. H.A.T.E U should’ve never been a single. Inseparable would’ve done well with trey on R&B radio.

2.- Promotion. I’m being real as an iTunes analyzer. MC is gonna have some competition next week when she release letting go (Lady Gaga) After that she should be fine though. Facebook is such an innovative way all the international lambs to connect and to release music. so thank you for that bro. (Even though Britney’s non-singing ass wanted to copy)
Radio be trying to play MC sometimes and that why we need to take advantage. Please book her for the AMAs which airs a week after- you of course know that the more ppl see her perform, the more the higher her number is on iTunes. Soultrain awards too and Xfactor USA. We need this to be 19th #1 or at least top 10. Not playing JD. The Decade crew is in full effect! HA. Im sure you have more ideas for the single though.

2b-Promotion- Please watch out for who is releasing on your day too. MC needs her 7th #1 album. She doesn’t deserve to be outshined by anyone. When that albums comes, GO THE FUCK IN with promo bro. Im talking- The View, Fallon, SNL,106- a few shows, Michael & Kelly,Vh1 interviews, MTV. Concert for the Today or even GMA again! lol Ellen, maybe Queen Latifah and Watch what happens live with Andy(folks love that show) lol

2c-Also, Most likely you guys will be releasing around Feb, March for the album release. It wouldn’t hurt to get her to attend and present/attend at the Grammys, Oscars, Golden Globes, NAACP. It’ll be a good look, cause I’m sure ‘The Butler’ will be nominated and recognized. Its like killing two birds with one stone. Funny cause I know MC is not the type to attend something if she not nominated or involved but just push her to do it lol

    3. Mariah is known in the public as a DIVA. YES we all know it.But her true fans know that half the time she is playing around and making fun of her OWN image. I understand its sort of a defense mechanism, but folks thinks that’s really her. It wouldn’t hurt at all to soften her image. There are thousands of clips on Youtube where she gives real funny/ down to earth interviews (the Wendy Williams 05 and over the seas interviews) and I wish the public could see. It wouldn’t hurt to help soften her image. If she goes on The Breakfast Club, folks will see that she can hang, talk shit and be down to earth like she chill on the stoop. (Breakfast club is great even though I know you disagree with Charlemagne, they get hella hits- its a good platform)

Also , when she goes on Ellen, have her bring roc or roe out for a segment to dance or something. Viewers will see her in her element as a loving , caring mommy and TRUST that will work in her favor! BELIEVE ME! (Tell MC to stop saying Dahhhhhling all the damn time) lmaoo

    4. Performing- Yes, we all know MC be lip-synching sometimes. She still has it and ppl just need to see that. W.E. you do bro, please encourage her to sing LIVE at all times. We don’t care if shes not perfect or hit all the notes. We just want her to put her best foot forward. Folks are starting to believe tht she doesn’t have it and she clearly does. And help her regain her energy on stage cause sometime she needs to stop being stiff, let go and be more carefree. Just like she used to get down in the 90’s. Encourage her to move around and not just stand there. She still has it bro, I know it!!!!

    5. When she goes on tour, please have her change her set list and do old songs. NOBODY has a catalogue like Mariah and she need to let them know. We don’t need to hear her sing Hero, my all and the other #1s that she always does. What bout we hear “Long ago” from Daydream or “Babydoll” or “Ive been thinking about you.” Notice how when she performed ‘Looking In’ at the philanthropic concert, she made headline on Billboard and on other important publications.

JD, you’ve been doing a great job man and you have the support of me and many other fans. Keep up the great work!! SOSODEF! Just keep on striving and we got you.
P.S> Wassup with that Q-tip record she did, I heard she in on that. Lets hear it on the album. HMU on IG or on twitter AlexTitus5

  2. This is very interesting to me @alexbt,because you guys are some of the most vocal group of fans i’ve ever met,
    you all have great ideas
but this FaceBook release is gonna allow her to see how many Lambs are really behind her
    (IE)
she should go #1 on iTunes on mon the 11th just like Bieber does when he drops

its so many Lambs on my twitter, telling me what i need and better do, y’all have a huge responsibility as well

FaceBook server should also get jammed with all the traffic

BTW i love all the feedback,y’all are my Barometers that I’m doing all the right things

  3. @JD The facebook launch is really a great way to unite the fans world-wide to listen to the premiere of the song all at the same time. It is a great launch pad for the song but it is simply that, a launch pad IMO. The diehard fans can only do so much and while I agree that the fans have a huge responsibility, the responsibility should not be totally placed on them. I worry that you might be overestimating the diehard fan base and what will happen with iTunes placings and facebook servers next Monday. The diehard fans will of course be there on facebook on 11.11 but Mariah has a wide and diverse group of fans that range across a variety of ages and who have come to be a fan of Mariah for different reasons. Some love her voice want to hear that in all its great glory, some love AC type music, some love R&B, some love her hip hop influenced tracks. As time has gone by and a lot of fans have become older, they have become fickle in some ways and haven’t liked the direction of Mariah’s music and won’t immediately support everything she does which is a shame. Mariah’s fanbase isn’t like Biebers in that it is full of teenagers who sit on Itunes. Many of them are old skool need to be exposed to the song on radio first to want to support her now so while the Facebook premiere will attract a lot of die hard fans, many more fans will only be exposed to Mariah by airplay and that is what will drive up her itunes position. A lot of the time in Mariah’s career, airplay has driven her sales. Take #Beautiful, that had huge spins because of the CC deal and it pushed her up as far as 4 on itunes. I know Triumphant Get Em was not well received but it premiered on her website and the fans who supported it only pushed it up to 35 on Itunes before it dropped. Almost Home was another song that was mainly only in the fan domain and that only made to a similar position before it plummeted. Obviously The Art of Letting Go has received a lot more exposure than those two songs already due to the promo Mariah did and the amount of communication she has made to her fans and the public via facebook for the last month. But I do think it will take more than facebook to push Mariah to the top of itunes, especially with Gaga releasing her album on the same day. She needs airplay.

We love you JD. I hope you don’t take this as me trying to tell you your business. It’s only an opinion. And I know how you value hearing what we have to say. Thanks for your time. I hope what I said sort of makes sense.

  4. I meant to say Mariah’s fanbase IS NOT like Biebers.
