NBA Finals will look slightly different this season as the format for home and away games changes from 2-3-2 to 2-2-1-1-1. This was a unanimous decision by the league’s owners. What this switch means is that the team with the best regular-season record will host the first, second, fifth and seventh games of the series. Previously, the squad with home-court advantage would be on the road for Games 3, 4 and 5.
